Social Media Marketing Made Easier with A Virtual Assistant
Social media marketing can be made easy for those that are willing to set up a strategy, set goals and invest time in making everything work together. The accessibility of social media is there BUT becoming a successful social media marketer is not easy. Social media marketing takes time. (Believe ME, I KNOW) Those Entreprenuers and companies that make social media marketing look easy have been cultivating their strategy for at least a couple of years. Take the case of computer company Dell. Dell is reportedly earning millions from its Twitter accounts. But the company has been using all these accounts for a few years already. And Dell has mastered the art of using Twitter to communicate with its clients.
If you want to make sure that you stay active in social media long enough to gain the benefits, you must invest the time and really work on your social media accounts. If you do not have the time to invest, you should hire a virtual assistant to perform all social media tasks for you. Having a VA to manage your social accounts will ensure that your contents are always fresh or at least used when and where you would like. Then, you are free to interact with the people in your network. The VA will do the legwork while you reap the benefits. Using a VA will give you the opportunity to focus on other tasks that will enable you to gain more from your business hours.
Now wait a minute, before you hire a virtual assistant to post your very first tweet or facebook status, make sure you have determined your target market and what kind of marketing attack you will implement (remember the strategy I mentioned in the first sentence of the first paragraph). When you already have a plan for your social media use, you can get your VA to implement your plan for the effective use of social media in your business.
Ok, this is where I am going to contradict the last paragraph. Yes, I am. I have to do if for those people that WANT to use social media marketing BUT have no idea how. I have to do it for those people that have no idea what a "tweet" is. Yes, there are people in the world in the year 2010 that have no idea what social media marketing is. THESE are the people that are in need of a virtual assistant do ALL the ground work, help with the strategy, discuss the target market and how to engage them in the marketing campaign.
Lastly, please be sure that you are clear with your VA concerning your ideas, the direction you want your business to go in, how in depth you want your social media marketing to be, what your goals are and what you would like to accomplish in your overall business.

Virtual Girl Friday 4 Hire is also...Virtually Volunteering
Image by johnhallassoc via FlickrBelow is a direct message from Anne Batte, the wonderful young lady that has taken on the mission of making the word "FORECLOSURE" less traumatic and scary. Anne is on a mission to fight the misconceptions of helplessness AND fear that FORECLOSURE brings to the minds of anyone enduring this challenge.
“I am here today on behalf of a mission called Operation Restoration to deliver a message of hope to families and individuals who are worried of losing their homes to foreclosure. Because of this economic disaster, you likely know a name in distress or you may be feeling the dread yourself. People are trying to take advantage of our family members or neighbors who do not where to turn. Reach out to them and encourage them not to give up. Dread attacks the mind. But, help is on the way. A group of very dedicated, passionate people across this nation have voluntarily made online education to teach borrowers proven simple-to-follow methods and options to stop foreclosure. Education empowers people to make informed decisions lacking dread. And it works!
At a time when our nation is suffering from division, friction, violence, and separation, let’s pray that this education will quickly reach the people of this nation. This is a time of hope. There is a solution to the foreclosure disaster: Educate people about right solutions so that they can help themselves. Give people a safe place to question additional questions and receive additional help if necessary. We are one nation, under God, indivisible, with Liberty and Justice for all. We can do this if we all work together. If you want to help with Operation Restoration, we need volunteers whom we will train. And we need help delivering this information to the nation."
